Basic Stuff

 

Thank you for visiting my site!  It is February 2008, and the past four months have been very busy

for me. I have been attending Web Developer training at Centriq Training in Leawood, KS.  It has

been a very intense experience as I have had to cram an entire programming education into a very

short period of time!  The last step is to be MCTS certified of which I am currently in the

process of obtaining.  I have passed the first half and have received certification in Application

Development Foundation.  As of March 1, 2008, I will have also completed certificaton for

Web-Based Client Development.

 

The transition from owning my own business in a construction environment to getting back into

the IT field has been a great move.  I had not realized how much I missed the everyday mental

challenge of programming and how technology has advanced in just a few years. I am very excited

about re-entering the job market with my new skills and look forward to many trials in the future!

 

Please check out my projects page that has links to two projects I have completed.  The JobSearch

project combines my knowledge of ASP.NET, ADO.NET, C#.NET, and TSQL to create an ineractive

application that allows me to track job search information.  The MyBlog project uses these these

same skills to create a generic blog site that allows new entries and comments and tracks
